Alvaro Moreno "Free": the precision of pad printing on curved surfaces

There are designs that are born to break molds, and the bottle of the fragrance "Libre" by Alvaro Moreno is a clear example. With organic lines and curved surfaces that evoke movement and freedom, this container presented a demanding technical challenge: how to apply a sharp and balanced brand on a non-flat base?

The adaptability of pad printing

For this project of men's perfumery, at Serigrafía Portal we have opted for the technique of pad printing. Unlike other methods, this technology allows us to:

  • Total adaptation: The silicone pad acts as a flexible seal that adapts perfectly to the ripples and curves of the glass without distorting the logo.
  • Definition in fine lines: We have achieved a high definition print for both the robust typography of 'Alvaro Moreno' and the manual and light stroke of the word 'Libre'.
  • Chromatic uniformity: The deep blue remains homogeneous throughout the graphic, contrasting with the crystalline transparency of the glass.

Minimalism and freshness

This success story is an ode to well-executed simplicity. The container seeks to convey a sensation of freshness and purity. Our technical intervention ensures that the decoration accompanies this clean aesthetic without overloading it, ensuring optimal adhesion and long-lasting resistance to the passage of time.

As in all our production in the workshop, we work with responsible processes and high-quality materials to offer results that integrate into the circular economy and respect for the environment.

Do you have a container with complex or irregular shapes? Our experience in pad printing is the key to a flawless finish.
